This is a pre-release privacy notice for Find My Circle. It will be reviewed and updated before public launch to reflect the final product, data flows, retention periods, account-deletion process, and applicable legal requirements.

This Privacy Policy explains how Find My Circle ("Find My Circle", "we", "us", or "our") may collect, use, store, and disclose information when you use our mobile application, website, and related services.

1. Information we may collect

Account and profile information

Name, email address, authentication method, and account identifiers.
Phone number when phone authentication is used.
Date of birth and gender when required for features that use age or gender eligibility rules.
Profile photographs and other profile information you choose to provide.

Service marketplace information

Service requests, descriptions, categories, locations, and related details.
Provider profiles, service offerings, biographies, locations, offers, and related information.
Ratings, reviews, completion records, and other marketplace interactions.

Community and event information

Events you create or join, event titles, descriptions, categories, dates, locations, and participant information.
Age and gender eligibility information used to determine whether a user may join an event.

Communications and activity

Messages exchanged through in-app chat.
Notifications, account activity, and technical records related to use of the service.

2. How we may use information

To create and manage user accounts.
To operate service requests, offers, events, communities, chat, ratings, and notifications.
To show relevant requests, offers, or community content.
To enforce eligibility, safety, and platform rules.
To prevent abuse, fraud, unauthorized access, and security incidents.
To maintain, troubleshoot, improve, and support the service.
To comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.

3. How information may be shared

Information may be shared with other users where this is necessary for a feature to work, such as provider profiles, offers, event participation, public ratings, and chat between users. Users should avoid sharing unnecessary sensitive personal information through public fields or messages.

We may also use service providers that support authentication, hosting, databases, file storage, analytics, communications, security, and application infrastructure. These providers process information to support the service.

4. Authentication and infrastructure

Find My Circle uses third-party technology services, including Firebase and Google services, for functions such as authentication, database storage, file storage, and application infrastructure. Authentication options may include email/password, Google, phone authentication, and, when enabled, Apple Sign In.

5. Data retention

We intend to retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, to maintain account and transaction history where appropriate, to resolve disputes, to protect users and the platform, and to comply with legal obligations. Final retention periods will be reviewed before public launch.

6. Account deletion

Find My Circle plans to provide an account-deletion process. Deletion may remove or anonymize personal information, depending on the type of data. Certain shared records may need to be retained or anonymized rather than removed where deleting them would damage another user's legitimate history, security records, or platform integrity. The final deletion process will be documented before public launch.

7. Security

We use technical and organizational measures intended to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, users may have rights regarding access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent. The exact processes for exercising applicable rights will be finalized before public launch.

9. Children

The final minimum-age requirement and any age-related safeguards will be confirmed before public launch. Users must provide accurate age information where age is required for platform features.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy as the service evolves or as legal and operational requirements change. The current version will be published on this page with an updated effective date.
